about

Originally from Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, I worked as a cinematographer based out of New York since graduating NYU’s film program in 2011. My work has taken me across the world; from Taiwan to Accra, Helsinki, and Rio de Janeiro, I strive to help create an encouraging workplace and find subtle beauty and meaning no matter the context. I now split my time between Portland (Oregon!) and NYC.

With a strong understanding of visual effects, I work seamlessly within productions requiring a high level of technical expertise – most recently Molli & Max In The Future, a feature utilizing virtual sets built in Unreal Engine on an LED stage.

Whether it involves groundbreaking technology or simply patience and a handheld camera, I enjoy exploring any technique that benefits the stories I help tell. My credits include films premiering at TIFF, SXSW, Cinequest, Palm Springs, AFI Docs, Sundance Ignite, Short of the Week, and multiple Vimeo Staff Picks.
