C.J. Harrod works full-time as a dishwasher. He makes too much money to live in the subsidized housing where he grew up, but not enough to pay his child support. Feeling pressure from his daughter’s mother and the threat of a jail sentence, he navigates his way through small-town middle America, desperate to pay.
